HESPERIA – The North Muskegon boys basketball team extended their red-hot season with a 74-32 rout against WMC-Rivers opponent Hesperia on Thursday.

“It was a close game in the first quarter as Hesperia gave us all we wanted,” said North Muskegon coach Charles Rypstra. “We were able to dig down and play a little better defense which led to some easier baskets for us.”

“In the second half, we kept the defense up and were able to come away with the win,” said Rypstra.
