The Fruitport Calvary Christian boys basketball team fell by one point for the second time in 10 days against Barry County Christian on Thursday evening.

The Eagles fell short to Barry County Christian, 68-67.

“I guess they had our number this year, and our defense and rebounding really let us down tonight,” said Calvary Christian coach Brad Richards. “Soon we’ve got to get all five guys to figure it out together at that end of the court.”

Bradley Richards had another stellar night with a double-double of 35 points and 15 rebounds. Quinn Swanson scored 16 points and had five assists, while Sam Zelenka added 12 points and five assists.

Calvary Christian (10-7, 1-2) will travel to Grand Rapids West Michigan Aviation Academy for an Alliance League game on Friday.
