MUSKEGON – The Reeths-Puffer girls basketball team topped Zeeland East, 53-35, in OK-Green play on Tuesday evening.
The Rockets had a narrow lead of 21-16 by halftime, but used a 21-8 third quarter scoring run to pull away.
Brooklyn Tornes led the way with 22 points, five assists, five steals and three rebounds. Megan Barnes put up 14 points and Irelyn Nicklasch added six points and 10 rebounds.
Reeths-Puffer (8-11, 7-6) will be at home on Friday for conference action with Zeeland West.
