Spring Lake boys come up short in low-scoring game against visiting Allendale

SPRING LAKE – The Spring Lake boys basketball team came up short in a defensive battle against OK-Blue opponent Allendale on Friday night.

The Lakers led 20-15 after the first half, but stalled out and allowed Allendale to come back and win, 36-31.

Jaden Core, Colin Burt and Wren Deephouse each scored six points.

Spring Lake (9-9, 4-6) will be at Holland Christian on Tuesday for a conference contest.
