FREMONT – Riley Chase and Mia Clemence helped propel the Fremont girls soccer team to an 8-0 rout over Comstock Park in the season opener on Monday evening.
Chase and Clemence each ended the night with a hat trick.
The Packers outshot Comstock Park 27-2.
Maddie Mater and Anna Norris added a goal apiece. Goalkeeper Hallie Snyder made two saves and posted the shutout.
Fremont (1-0) will visit Muskegon Catholic Central on Monday, April 8.
