The Mona Shores softball team made easy work of Holland on Tuesday in doubleheader action.

The Sailors won the first game 15-4, then won the nightcap in shutout fashion 16-0.

Lilly Baskin tossed five innings, allowing four hits and striking out five batters.

Maggie McCarthy went 4-for-5 at the plate with three triples and a double, while Sophie Mettler had one hit, a walk and three runs scored.

In the second game, Mikey Peterson tossed a one-hit shutout in three innings while striking out three batters.

Brooklyn Graham and Amelia Pena each had two hits to lead the Sailors in the nightcap. Every player in the lineup had at least one hit and a run scored.

Mona Shores is now 4-5 overall on the season and 4-2 in OK-Green play.
