MUSKEGON – The Muskegon Catholic Central baseball team split its doubleheader against Covenant Christian on Tuesday.

In the opener, the Crusaders went down 6-1 after an inning and a half and went on to fall, 8-3. 

Dewey Modaff and Bryan Convertini each had a double and an RBI. Bode Zygmuntowski scored two runs.

The Crusaders bounced back in game two and won, 8-4.

Croix Klint and Jacob Lyonnais gave up a combined four hits.

Modaff posted two hits and two RBI, while Klint had a hit and two RBI. Convertini and Landon Luchies each had a hit and an RBI.

Muskegon Catholic Central (3-1) will be at home on Wednesday for a doubleheader against Muskegon.
