The Oakridge Eagles surpassed the 30-run mark in a doubleheader sweep of the Whitehall Vikings in a West Michigan Conference matchup.
 
The Eagles won the opener 17-0 and the nightcap, 16-1.
 
In the first game, the Eagles flexed their muscle with three home runs. Winning pitcher Kaelinn Jozsa helped her own cause with a home run, double, single and three RBI. She allowed one hit and struck out six.
 
Madison Clark also had three hits, including a home run, and four RBI. Brenna Cabrera had a home run and two RBI. Gracia Willea had two singles.
 
The Eagles plated 12 runs in the opening inning to gain quick control of the game.
 
In the nightcap, which lasted four innings, Kylee Willea was the winning pitcher. She allowed two hits and struck out six.
 
Ahria Doornbos belted a grand slam home run and added a single. She finished with four RBI. Kelcey Osborne had three singles and an RBI. Madi Clark also hit a home run, a single and knocked in two runs. Willea had two singles and three RBI.
 
Annabel Kevwitch had a solo home run to account for Whitehall’s run.
 
Oakridge (7-1, 4-0) next hosts Byron Center.
