The Muskegon Catholic baseball team won a pair of 1-0 contests over Western Michigan Christian on Wednesday in doubleheader action.

Both games were five-inning games.

In Game 1, Owen Lyonnais pitched all five innings, allowing two hits while striking out three.

Lyonnais scored the lone run in the fourth inning in the opening contest.

Max Miller took a tough loss on the mound for WM Christian.

In Game 2, Lyonnais also pitched four shutout innings, while his twin brother, Jacob Lyonnais, earned the win, tossing the final inning of the game.

Ryan Hilson scored the lone run on an error.

The Crusaders are now 20-4 overall on the season.
