MUSKEGON – The Oakridge Eagles didn’t need a lot of hits to secure an 11-2 non-conference baseball victory over Muskegon Catholic on Wednesday.

The Eagles did have six hits, but were aided by five hit batters, six walks and four Crusader errors.

Evan Miller and Aiden Johnston each had two hits to pace the Eagles. Miller knocked in five runs. Vitek Benes stepped into the batter’s box three hits and got plunked by a pitch each time. He ended up scoring three runs.

Jullian Primmer was the winning pitcher for Oakridge.

Dewey Modaff had a double for MCC (27-7).
