Sailors wrap up OK Conference-Green soccer season with a shutout over Wyoming 8-0 as Norden and Benedict score two goals each

NORTON SHORES –The Mona Shores girls soccer team wrapped up their OK Conference-Green season with a bang on Wednesday evening.

The Sailors cruised past Wyoming by a score of 8-0.

Shay Norden and Mikayla Benedict led the way with two goals apiece. Lauren Davis, Lilly Houle, Ali Trautner and Maya Cooper each added a score of their own.

Assists on the night for the Sailors came from Addison Nellis and Lauren Hylland with two and Sophia Fisher with one.

Jenna Baker posted the shutout in the net.

Mona Shores (9-1-2, 6-0-1) will travel to take on #1 Division 3 Hudsonville Unity Christian on Friday.
