Muskegon Catholic baseball opened its season on Monday and took care of Orchard View in a doubleheader.
The Crusaders started with a 6-0 win and followed up with an 8-5 win in Game 2.
MCC was led by pitcher Owen Lyonnais in Game 1 with six strikeouts while giving up two hits.
Bode Zygmuntowski had two hits, including a double and an RBI while Henry Rosema had a single and two RBIs.
In Game 2, Zygmuntowski and Croix Klint combined for the win on the mound for MCC.
Bryan Convertini finished with a home run, a double and three RBIs.
