The Shelby girls basketball team won a huge conference game, defeating Oakridge 48-26 on Tuesday in a West Michigan Conference game.

The Tigers led 13-4 after the opening stanza, 20-11 at halftime and 44-21 through three quarters.

Kendall Zoulek paced Shelby with 18 points and 16 rebounds while Lexi Schultz added nine points.

Lauren Dean chipped in with six points for the Tigers and Sharon Josephson pulled down 10 rebounds.

Shelby is now 4-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play.

HART 62, RAVENNA 34- The Pirates had a 32-19 advantage at halftime and carried it through the third quarter.

Jayd Hovey led Hart with 20 points, while Xasha Gonzalez, Nicole Rockwell and Kendall Williamson added eight each.

The Pirates are now 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in the WMC competition.

MONTAGUE 54, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 19 – The Wildcats improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in West Michigan Conference play.

Montague was paced by Emma Flynn with 12 points while Nyah Tyron led the Spartans with nine points and three assists.

The Wildcats jumped out to a 10-3 lead after the first quarter, led 22-6 at halftime and had a 38-14 advantage through three quarters.

WHITEHALL 50, NORTH MUSKEGON 18– The Vikings jumped out to a 22-3 lead and never looked back on Tuesday.

Rileigh Thommen paced Whitehall with 18 points and seven steals while Camryn Evans added nine points and three steals.

The Vikings, who will host Montague on Friday, are now 2-3 on the season and 2-1 in league play.
