Muskegon Community College women’s basketball team edged by Oakland

The women’s basketball team at Muskegon Community College dropped a 54-51 decision to Oakland Community College in the opening game of the Pepsi Thanksgiving Classic at Bartels-Rode Gymnasium on Friday.

Jasmyn Good had 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead MCC (1-4). She was the lone Jayhawk to reach double figures. Lindsey Burnside had 13 rebounds for the Jayhawks.

Tanner McCune had 16 points and Lauren Featherstone added 11 for Oakland CC.
