Mike Maclean scored a career-high 21 points to lead Fremont to a 63-53 Lakes 8 victory against Fruitport on Friday night.
Maclean scored 14 of his 21 points in the third quarter with the help of four 3-pointers.
Mike Siegel chipped in with 14 points and seven assists for the Packers, who outscored the Trojans 45-33 in the second half.
Dylan Krim (12 points, 9 rebounds) and Blake Siersema (8 rebounds) also had solid games, while Jacob Kaastra converted two big 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to put Fremont up by 10 points.
Tyler Fehler scored 18 points and Aaron Veihl added 16 points for the Trojans, who led 19-18 after a sluggish first half.
