The Oakridge soccer squad traveled to Montague and came away with a 2-0 victory in West Michigan Conference action on Tuesday night.

After a scoreless first half, Bayly Ehnen got the Eagles on the board with a header from Brenden Thiele.

Thiele scored the second goal unassisted.

Brandon Jones (six saves) and Jason Cerka (four saves) both contributed in the net to earn the shutout.

Jared Holter, Nathan Barber, Mason Wever and Isiac Dailey were key defensive pieces on the back line for the Eagles.

Oakridge improves to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in WMC play.
