The Western Michigan Christian boys soccer team blanked Fruitport 1-0 on Tuesday in a non-league game.

The game was shorten by 16 minutes due to lightning in the area.

Charlie Alfree scored the lone goal for WMC that was assisted by Hayden Hubers.

The Warriors goalkeeper Jamison Goorman posted a shutout in net.

WMC is now 3-0-2 on the season.

ORCHARD VIEW 5, GR AVIATION 2 – Roger McKenzie paced the Cardinals with three goals and an assist while Maverick Carlisle and Devante Glover each scored a goal. Orchard View goalkeeper stopped 11 shots. Isaiah Villareal, Logan Woods and Brady Bowen each chipped in with an assist.

NORTH MUSKEGON 8, MONTAGUE 0 – Brody Hoffman paced the Norse with three goals and three assists while Dylan Schultz added two goals. Brendan Gannon, Ethan Pike and Parker Kersman each chipped in with a goal and Trevor Schultz contributed with two assists. North Muskegon’s goalkeeper Nick Gertsweiler posted his third shutout of the season, stopping three shots.

SPRING LAKE 2, MONA SHORES 2 – The Lakers tied their third straight contest and were led by Eli Denslow and Charlie Parker with a goal apiece. The game was tied 1-1 at halftime. Evan Ernst chipped in with an assist for Spring Lake.
