Fremont earned a 35-26 Lakes 8 Conference win over Grant.
The Packers led 12-4 after one quarter and 21-8 at halftime.
“We were able to build an early lead with very tough defense,” Fremont coach Bill Karnemaat said. “Haley Vanboven played great defense all night long. We had a slow start to the second half and got into early fouls and put them on the line. We kept fighting and was able to pick up the win.”
Katie DeKryger led the Packers with eight points and 10 rebounds, while Claire Abendroth had six assists.
Dayle Wood led Grant with nine points and Sammy Slachter added five assists.
