Ravenna won the first game with solid pitching and North Muskegon took the nightcap with heavy hitting.

Bulldog pitcher Jake Sied and North Muskegon’s Adrian Anderson locked up in a pitcher’s duel that saw Ravenna capture a 3-2 victory. Sied struck out nine and allowed three hits in a complete-game victory. Anderson struck out nine and allowed five hits in a complete-game loss.

Ravenna was led by Colton Kantola with two singles. He also scored two runs.

Ryan Compeau  had a double to lead North Muskegon.

A 15-hit attack led to a 15-0 victory for North Muskegon in the nightcap. That attack included three doubles and a triple in the four-inning game. Anderson led NM with two singles, a triple and two runs. Reese McCamant, Rogan McEvoy and Compeau each had a double, single and two runs scored. Compeau finished with three runs batted in.

Jake Gautraud added two singles and scored three runs. McEvoy was the winning pitcher. He allowed one hit and struck out five in four innings of work.

Nick Timlin had Ravenna’s lone hit in the nightcap.
