Kent City splits quad with Grant, White Cloud

WHITE CLOUD – Kent City defeated host White Cloud but fell to neighboring Grant Monday night in a non-league quad.

Kent City narrowly downed the host Indians 27-25, 26-24, while falling the Tigers 25-16, 25-20.

Kassidy Heeringa paced the Eagles with 14 service points, four aces, six assists and five kills, while Brandi Boehm finished with nine points, four aces, and six kills for Kent City. Kayleigh Hartley contributed seven points, four aces and 13 assists.

Kelsey Krueger had seven points and four aces, and Justine Wolter added nine kills for Kent City.

Kent City is now 16-4 overall.
