Whitehall continues district defensive streak in 6-0 semifinal boys soccer win

WHITEHALL – Host Whitehall Vikings maintained its unscored-upon streak at Thursday’s Div. 3 district  semifinal match versus Grant, downing the Tigers in 6-0 fashion.

Whitehall won 8-0 over Lakeview at Tuesday’s district opener.

Versus Grant, the Vikings’ Andrew Jennings contributed two goals and an assist, with Mikkel Flaat had a goal and assists in the victory. Teammates Patrick Johnson, Robby Jacobs and Richard Simons each scored, and Logan Hunter and John Gonzales each added an assist for the Vikings.

Tri-County defeated Oakridge 8-2 in the other semifinal match.

Whitehall will face Tri-County at Saturday’s district final match.
