The Muskegon Catholic boys basketball team remained tied for first place in the Lakes 8 Conference following its 61-50 victory over Fremont on Friday.

Both MCC and Spring Lake have one league loss, and will play next Thursday to end the regular season.

Christian Martinez paced MCC with 24 points and Sam Kaastra dropped in 13 for Fremont.

Spring Lake 62, Orchard View 38Keegan George had a huge night, scoring 24 points for Spring Lake. Matias Keyes paced Orchard View with nine points.

Ludington 65, Fruitport 44Ryan Bowen led the Orioles with 12 point and Zac Schoon and Andrew Jones each added 11. Cory Merkins scored nine points for the Trojans.
