The Western Michigan Christian softball team swept a doubleheader from NorthPointe Christian on Tuesday, 17-4 and 11-4.LSJ Logo incert

The Warriors jumped out to an 11-0 lead in the first inning of Game 1 and scored six more in the third. Every player in the lineup collected at least one RBI.

Catherine Bradford-Royle, Haylee Moser, Hannah Nestell, and Hannah Pell all had hits, and Moser knocked in three runs.

Moser also pitched five innings and got the win, striking out six and allowing five hits, while giving up four runs (two earned).

WMC used a six-run fourth inning in Game 2 to oust NorthPointe. Moser went 3-for-3 with three runs and Emilee Pell and Bradford-Royle each had two hits.

Nestell got her first win in the circle for the varsity squad, pitching five innings, striking out five, and giving up two earned runs.
