The Kent City baseball team kept rolling through its league schedule with a 7-4 and 10-0 sweep of Holton on Thursday.LSJ Logo incert

Pitcher Quinn Koomen tossed a complete-game victory in the opener, scattering five hits with four strikeouts and one walk. He helped his own cause with two hits and two RBIs at the plate.

Luke O’Keefe and Skylour Campbell each added a pair of hits for the Eagles. Blake Fialek and Jacob Tanner each had one RBI for Holton.

O’Keefe pitched the win in Game 2, giving up two hits with four strikeouts in five innings.

Luke Scheuneman had the hot bat for Kent City, going 3-for-3 with four RBIs. O’Keefe, Campbell and Koomen each added two hits.

Nick Swenson and Jacob Bondon registered hits for the Red Devils.

Kent City is now 14-2 overall and 14-0 in CSAA play.
