Whitehall easily advanced in the West Michigan Conference soccer tournament on Wednesday by routing Ravenna, 8-0. 
The Vikings scored their eighth goal with 34 minutes, 28 seconds remaining in the second half, which enforced the mercy rule.
Hanna Evans contributed half of her team’s goals by scoring four. She also tallied an assist.
Emma Thompson added three goals and an assist, and Lauren Baustert recorded a goal and an assist. Also contributing assists were Ellie Stevens, Lauren Lopez and Kerrigan Semans.
