Ludington’s varsity boys basketball team scored a solid 55-37 victory over non-conference foe Cadillac on Wednesday evening to keep the Orioles undefeated this season.

The Orioles are now 7-0. They handed the Vikings their sixth-straight loss after they started the season 3-0.

Ludington got off to a tremendous start, outscoring the host Vikings 17-5 in the first quarter and maintaining a double figure lead the rest of the way.

Cameron Bandstra led a balanced Orioles’ attack with 11 points, while sophomore Josh Laman added 10 and senior guard Calvin Hackert netted nine points.

Ludington returns home on Friday to battle league foe Muskegon Catholic Central.
