The Muskegon boys basketball team maintained its unbeaten record, defeating Grand Rapids Union 60-52 on Tuesday night in an O-K Black game.

The Big Reds jumped out to a 16-10 lead after the first quarter, led 28-22 at halftime and had a 41-29 advantage heading into the final quarter.

Muskegon was outscored by a 13-11 margin in the fourth quarter but managed to hold on for the win.

Markell Jackson led the Big Reds with 15 points and nine rebounds while Anthony Bethea III added 10 points and eight rebounds. Jermayne Golidy contributed 12 points and seven rebounds for Muskegon.

COOPERSVILLE 92 MONA SHORES 66 – The Broncos got out to a hot start offensively, scoring 28 points and the first and 25 in the second to take a 53-41 lead at halftime. The Sailors were led by Jarvis Walker with 26 points.

JENISON 66, REETHS-PUFFER 52 – A strong third quarter propelled Jenison over the Rockets after leading 33-29 at halftime on Tuesday night in an O-K Black matchup. Josh Jordan led the Rockets (2-14, 1-8) with 13 points and eight rebounds, while Carter Fulton added 11 points.
