The Holton boy’s basketball team beat Ravenna 45-33 on Thursday and clinched its first .500 regular season in 10 years.

The Red Devils finished with a 10-10 overall record.

Kyle Wildfong led Holton with 16 points while Kevin Slowik added 11 points and seven rebounds.

Ravenna, which finished the regular season 6-14, was paced by Trevor Hazen with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

WHITEHALL 57, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC CENTRAL 43 – Whitehall’s Lucas Schumm poured in 30 points to help the Vikings finish the regular season with an 18-2 record. Whitehall took a 30-17 lead into halftime and controlled the game from there. Brandon Rake chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds for the Vikings. Cam Martinez scored 12 points for the Crusaders, who finished the regular season with an 8-12 record.

GR SOUTH CHRISTIAN 70, REETHS-PUFFER 51 – Visiting Reeths-Puffer took a 30-26 lead into halftime, but South Christian took control by knocking down six 3-pointers in the third quarter and outscoring the Rockets 24-9. Carter Fulton led Reeths-Puffer with 13 points while Emcee Williams added 12. The Rockets finished the regular season with a 3-17 record.

MONTAGUE 63, KENT CITY 53 – Montague pulled away from Kent City with a 20-13 fourth quarter advantage. The Wildcats, who finished the regular season with a 17-3 record, were led by Merritt Hamann with 21 points and Hunter Mosher with 14. Kent City, 14-6 on the season, was paced by Cody Bowers with 10 points.

GRANT 72, SHELBY 53 – A 27-15 third-quarter advantage gave Grant the victory. Spencer Brown led Shelby with 22 points and 14 rebounds.
