The Mona Shores baseball squad fell short in both games of a doubleheader at Forest Hills Central on Tuesday in non-league action.

The Sailors dropped the opening game 13-3, then fell short by a 3-2 margin in the nightcap.

In Game 1, the Sailors (4-6, 0-3) were led by Jackson Neely with a double, RBI, and one run scored.

Austin Flowers got the tough luck loss in Game 2 on the mound for the Sailors.

Flowers allowed two earned runs while striking out six batters while Kolbe Trovinger chipped in with three hits for Mona Shores, including a double.
