The Ravenna girls soccer team defeated Fruitport Calvary Christian on Thursday 2-1 in a Division 4 district semifinal contest.

The Bulldogs will face the winner of the Western Michigan Christian and Muskegon Catholic game on Saturday for a district title.

Maddie Abbott and Amalie Aam each scored a goal for while Ravenna while Ryen Huyser and Hayley Dekker chipped in with an assist.

The Bulldogs led 1-0 at halftime.

Ravenna’s goalkeeper Kaylea Young stopped 10 shots in net.

The Eagles lone goal was scored by Madison Heiss.
