The Holton girls basketball squad’s strong fourth quarter led to a 45-34 win over Hesperia on Friday in a CSAA Silver Division contest.

The Red Devils, who led 16-6 after the first quarter and 24-16 at halftime, outscored Hesperia by 15-4 margin in the fourth stanza to break a 30-30 tied after three quarters.

Kaylie Piper paced Holton with 20 points, while Haylee Brant added nine and Morgan Murat had six.

The Panthers were led by Emily Bayle with 12 points, while Alyssa Miller contributed with nine and Makenna Swisher chipped in with eight.
