The Fremont boys basketball squad won its 10th straight game, defeating Big Rapids 54-36 on Friday night.

Sophomore Braiden McDonald had a career-high 24 points to lead the Packers to the win.

Logan Karnemaat added a near triple-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and seven blocks, while Calvin Miller chipped in with seven points.

Fremont trailed 7-6 after the first quarter and 21-15 at halftime.

The Packers went on a 21-8 run during the third stanza to take a 36-29 advantage heading into the final frame before closing the contest on an 18-7 tear.

Fremont is now 12-1 on the season and 7-1 in league play.
