LAKEVIEW 38, HOLTON 19 – Mistakes proved to be the killer for the Red Devils on Friday night. Lakeview was able to take advantage of multiple turnovers and capitalize with good play and a good game plan.

All three of Holton’s touchdowns came through the air. Quarterback Drew Trygsted spread the ball around, with Ricky Enders catching two touchdowns and Austin Hawkins having the other.

The Red Devils’ defense was led by Joe Crowell, who was praised by coach Mike Jados for his efforts.

The accumulation of injuries and turnovers killed off Holton’s hopes of a comeback, and a 4th quarter interception returned for a touchdown put the game out of sight for Lakeview.

Holton drop to 1-5 overall and 0-3 in conference play. Holton will next host Kent City in a conference matchup.
