The Fruitport volleyball team defeated both Kenowa Hills and Grand Rapids Union on Saturday in an OK-Black double dual.

Sarah Zielinski had 11 aces and Brooke Sieplinga added 15 kills. Ellie Fisher and MaKayla Lillmars each had 10 kills.

The Trojans are now 8-3 in OK-Black Conference play.

MONA SHORES DOWNS MUSKEGON BUT FALLS TO JENISON – The Mona Shores volleyball team defeated Muskegon in straight sets before falling to Jenison in straight sets.

Grace Norris had 39 assists for Mona Shores while Brooke LeRoux had 21 kills. Lauren Dunn added 19 kills and four blocks for the Sailors.

Mnona Shores is now 22-20-3 overall and 9-2 in conference play.

SPRING LAKE GOES 1-2 – The Spring Lake volleyball team defeated Allendale on Saturday in the OK-Blue Conference tournament before falling to West Catholic and Grand Rapids Catholic Central.

Abbi Perkins led the Lakers with 21 kills while Madalyn Lisman added 12 and Alicia Mumby had 11.

Meah Bajt added 23 digs and Kendra Keift added 22 digs while Kyla Kobylak had 55 assists.

The Lakers are 13-27 overall and 5-4 in OK-Blue Conference play.
