The Kent City boys basketball team remained perfect in league, defeating White Cloud 68-48 on Friday night.

The Eagles led 20-16 lead after the first quarter, then went on a 26-8 run during the second quarter to take a 46-24 advantage at halftime.

Another strong quarter saw the Eagles push their lead to 62-36 after three quarters.

The Eagles were paced by Will Wright with 19 points. Eli Carlson scored 17 while Max Hudson added 14.

Kent City is now 8-3 overall and 6-0 in conference play.

FREMONT 58, REED CITY 34– The Packers stayed undefeated in CSAA Gold play.

Fremont jumped out to a 10-6 lead after the first quarter and extended the lead to 24-16 at halftime.

A 19-10 run in the third quarter pushed the Packer lead to a 45-26 margin.

The Packers were paced by Braiden McDonald with 17 points while Tristan Campbell pitched in with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Chris Kennedy chipped in with 12 points.

Fremont is now 11-1 overall and 8-0 in CSAA Gold play.

HOLTON 59, HESPERIA 19– The Red Devils jumped out to a 18-10 lead after the first quarter, then went on a 22-0 run during the second quarter to take a 40-10 halftime lead. Holton continue its strong run during the second half.

A balanced Red Devils scoring attack was led by Nathan Slowik, who scored 14 points, while Drew Trygstad had 13.

The Panthers were paced by Kanden Robbins with nine points, while River Montague added five.

The Red Devils improved to 8-4 overall and 4-2 in league, while Hesperia fell to 0-12 and 0-6 in conference.
