The North Muskegon girls basketball team picked up a 52-49 non-conference victory over Muskegon Heights on Monday night.

After a strong first quarter, Muskegon Heights led the Norse 19-10.

In the second quarter, North Muskegon rallied back with a 20-7 run to take a 30-26 halftime lead.

After three quarters, the two teams were tied at 41-41.

Chandler Falkowski led the Norse with 19 points and 17 rebounds while Natalie Pannucci added 17 points.

With the win, North Muskegon is now 4-10 overall on the season.

FRUITPORT CALVARY CHRISTIAN 70, OAKRIDGE 40 – Fruitport Calvary Christian picked up a non-conference win over Oakridge on Monday night behind a strong 34-17 first half advantage.

Kelsey Richards led Calvary with a dominant 37 points and 10 rebounds while Lizzie Cammenga added 17 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. Kyra Hamilton had seven points and nine rebounds.

Oakridge was paced by Delaney Ruel and Kyla Stewert who both had eight points.

Fruitport Calvary Christian is now 13-2 while Oakridge falls to 3-12.

WHITE CLOUD 49, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 29 – Mason County Central was unable to overcome a 14-7 first quarter deficit.

The Spartans were led by NyahTyron with 11 points and four steals.

Mason County Central is now 3-12 overall.

SHELBY 58, ORCHARD VIEW 26 – Shelby cruised past Orchard View using a 19-5 first quarter advantage.

The Tigers extended the lead in the second quarter, taking a 31-15 lead into halftime.

The Tigers were led by Kendall Zoulek with 15 points, eight rebounds, five assists and five steals while Lexi Schultz chipped in 12 points and seven steals. Lauren Dean added nine points and seven rebounds.

Allison Tenhove paced the Cardinals with 10 points and 10 rebounds. MacKenzie Filipiack added seven points and three steals.

Shelby is now 9-6 overall on the season.
