The Kent City football team defeated Lakeview 50-7 on Friday night to improve to 5-0 overall on the season and 5-0 in Central State Activities Association Silver play.

With the victory, the Eagles clinched the conference championship.

Mason Westbrook led Kent City with 86 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries while Webb Longcore totaled 67 yards and one touchdown on eight carries. Carter Milanowski also had a rushing score and totaled 58 yards on five carries.

Kyler Larson rounded out the Kent City rushers with 66 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries while also scoring on a 61-yard interception return.

Defensively, the Eagles held Lakeview to 70 total yards.

Westbrook totaled six tackles including two for loss while also adding a fumble recovery.

Kent City will close out the regular season next week at Orchard View.
