The Hart boys basketball team defeated Mason County Central 46-30 on Monday night in a conference clash.

Hart outscored Mason County Central 14-5 in the second quarter which gave the Pirates a lead they wouldn’t surrender.

Parker Hovey led Hart with 12 points and 12 rebounds while Kellen Kimes added 12 points.

OAKRIDGE 52, SHELBY 39 – A 17-3 fourth quarter advantage helped Oakridge take down Shelby in a West Michigan Conference clash.

Joseph Hayes led Shelby with 14 points while Griffin Fraas totaled 12 points.

Mason County Central was paced by Will Chye with 14 points and five rebounds.

FRUITPORT CALVARY CHRISTIAN 87, HESPERIA 30 – The Eagles never looked back on Monday night after jumping out to a 23-4 first quarter advantage.

Braden Swanson led Fruitport Calvary (3-2, 1-2) with 19 points and five steals while Braden Cohea added 17 points and five assists.

Bradley Richards added 17 points and 10 rebounds while teammate Jacob May had eight points and eight assists.

Quinn Swanson added 15 points for the Eagles.

PENTWATER 58, MANISTEE JV 30 – The Pentwater boys varsity team improved to 4-1 overall on Monday night.

Khole Hofman led the Falcons with 16 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists and three assists on the night while Tyler Plummer added 15 points.

Blake Brigindahl finished with 11 points and four rebounds while Will Werkema Grondsma totaled 10 points, 14 rebounds, five steals and five assists.

HOLTON 55, NEWAYGO 31 – A 33-18 first half advantage helped Holton take down Newaygo on Monday night.

Aidan Poling led the Red Devils with 19 points and three assists while Austin Fowler added 13 points and four rebounds.

Rounding out the Holton top performers were Brodrick Fialek with 11 points and seven rebounds and Wyatt Monette with 11 points and four rebounds.

Holton is now 6-1 overall on the season.

FREMONT 66, CENTRAL MONTCALM 53 – The Fremont boys basketball team won its third game in four days on Monday with a win over Central Montcalm.

Braiden McDonald led the Packers with 26 points while Lane Converse added 12 points and five steals.

Joshua Zerfas chipped in 10 points, seven assists and five steals while Jordan McDonald totaled 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Fremont is now 5-2 overall and 4-1 in league play.
