A big first half made the difference for the Rockets, who jumped out to a 20-8 lead after one quarter and had a 39-16 advantage at halftime. Mona Shores played nearly evenly with R-P in the second half, but couldn’t erase the damage.

R-P is now 6-7 overall and 5-5 in conference play.
