Senior guard Kaleb Mitchelson had a big night, scoring 25 points to lead the Reeths-Puffer boys basketball team to a convincing 68-41 victory over Mona Shores on Tuesday in an O-K Green conference contest.

A big first half made the difference for the Rockets, who jumped out to a 20-8 lead after one quarter and had a 39-16 advantage at halftime. Mona Shores played nearly evenly with R-P in the second half, but couldn’t erase the damage.

Kendall Smith added 14 points for the Rockets while Logan Brooks added 12. Keontae Richards and Parker Swartz scored 14 and 10 points, respectively, for Mona Shores.

R-P is now 6-7 overall and 5-5 in conference play.
