The Mona Shores Sailor’s cross country team participated in the Bredeweg Invitational hosted by West Ottawa at Macatawa Bay Middle School on Saturday.
The Sailors girls team finished No. 12 out of 19 participating teams with a score of 314.
The boys finished No. 11 out of 21 and earned a score of 308.
The girls were led by junior Cecilia Conrad and the team saw 12 girls earn season best times. Ava Sischo came away with the greatest improvement with a time of 3:06
The boys team was led by Caleb Branch.
Next competition for Mona Shores comes next Friday at the Michigan State Spartan Invitational.
