The Hart girls basketball team cruised to a 60-21 win over Ravenna and pushed its win streak to 10 games with the West Michigan Conference win on Friday.

Executing well on offense, the Pirates went on a tear in the first half of action as they outscored the Bulldogs 38-10 by the break.

It was more of the same in the third quarter as the Pirates snapped off another scoring run outscoring the Bulldogs 17-6 to grow the lead to 55-16 going into the fourth quarter.

Addi Hovey led Hart with 18 points, five rebounds and five steals while Abby Hicks had nine points and pulled down four rebounds.

Morgan Marvin added eight points, seven rebounds, four steals and four assists for Hart and Mariana VanAgtmael chipped in nine points, five assists, four rebounds and four steals. Aspen Boutell rounded out Hart’s win with eight points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals.

Emma Gillard did what she could to fight for the Bulldogs and finished with eight points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals.

Hart continues is now 11-1 on the season and will be at home on Tuesday to host Caledonia.

Ravenna slumps to 3-8 and will travel to take on Remus Chippewa Hills on Tuesday.
