The Reeths-Puffer girl’s basketball team looked a little stiff as they dropped their first game back from the holiday break losing to Grand Rapids West Catholic 58-44 on Tuesday evening.

The Rockets fell behind quick as they trailed the Falcons 38-24 going into the break, and continued struggling to get things going well into the second half. 

Sophia Hekkema led the Rockets with 19 points while grabbing six rebounds. Also for the Rockets, Ariel Walker had 10 points and three rebounds and Brooklyn Tornes posted seven points and had five rebounds.

Reeths-Puffer falls to 2-2 and will host Wyoming on Friday to resume O-K Green Conference action.
