SCOTTVILLE — Mason County Central’s boys and girls bowling teams went against Montague at home Wednesday afternoon, and both lost.

The girls were defeated, 29-1 and the boys fell, 28-2.

In the girls match it was Kylie Sheffer leading the way, rolling a high games of 159 and 161 and a 320 high series. Haley Story had a 138 high game and a 252 high series.

For the boys it was Kurtis Basler recording high games of 166 and 172 with a 338 high series.

Kaden Miller followed with high games of 150 and 170, with a high series of 320. Riley Priemer rolled high games of 124 and 131 with a 255 high series.

James Lohman had a 155 high game, and Chris Williams bowled a 291 high series.

The Spartans are next scheduled to bowl Monday at Northway Lanes in Muskegon for the conference tournament.
