HOLTON — Holton’s girls softball team swept a Central State Activities Association Silver doubleheader from Morley-Stanwood, 12-2 in five innings and 16-1 in three at home Wednesday night.

In the first game, Ryann Robins was in the circle for the Red Devils, and struck out 11 batters while not issuing a walk.

Alanna Cregg was the pacesetter on offense, going 3-for-3 with a double and four runs batted in.

Kenzie Greene also went 3-for-3 with a double and four RBI, while Abbie Fowler was 2-for-2 and Gianna Reed finished 2-for-3.

Holton freshman Greene took the circle in Game 2 and struck out six and also didn’t give up any walks over three innings.

Fowler led the way at the plate, going 3-for-3. Cregg, Greene and Aubrey Goyings each went 2-for-2.

Reed was 2-for-2 with three RBI and Melissa Kersting had a triple and two RBI.

Holton improved to 8-2.
