KENTWOOD –The Muskegon Catholic Central volleyball team took a hard loss to Grand River Preparatory on Thursday evening.
The Crusaders battled, but fell short in five sets, 25-19, 24-26, 23-25, 25-12, 15-13.
Claire LaVigne turned in a strong performance with 20 assists, 18 digs, 14 aces, 11 kills and two blocks. Aubrey Shepherd had 11 digs, seven aces and three kills, while Deja Hill added 14 digs and a pair of aces.
Muskegon Catholic (9-13, 3-5) will host the Alliance Conference Tournament on Saturday.
