MORLEY — The visiting Oakridge Eagles played a solid team from start to finish on Tuesday night and captured a 79-66 non-conference victory over Morley-Stanwood.

For the second straight game, everyone on the Eagle roster got into the scoring column.

Oakridge led 22-14 after the first quarter and 38-28 at the half. The Eagles put up 28 points in the third quarter and led 64-46 heading into the final quarter.

The host Mohawks cut that deficit by five in the final quarter.

Matt Danicek and Peyton Ruel paced the Eagles with 20 points each. Evan Miller added 16. Trever Jones was the leading rebounder with six. Ruel also dished out eight assists.

Oakridge (6-9, 3-4) will travel to Ludington on Thursday.
