MUSKEGON — The Mona Shores Sailors made quick work of the Muskegon Big Reds on Tuesday.
 
Mona Shores won the OK-Green softball opener, 19-1, and the nightcap, 15-0.
 
In the first game, Kristen Hylland was the winning pitcher. She allowed two hits and one walk.
 
Amelia Pena and Maggie McCarthy each had three hits. Shores had 19 hits in the game. In the third inning, Shores plated 16 runs.
 
In the second game, Hylland struck out two and allowed two hits.
 
Haley Yeomans led the Shores’ attack with three hits. McCarthy, Pena, Hylland and Nevaeh Cortez each had two hits.
