MUSKEGON — The rain was certainly a welcome sight on Sunday, but it also forced postponement of the Muskegon Clippers’ first road game of the season.

The Clippers were scheduled to travel to Royal Oak to take on the Leprechauns after winning their first five games of the season at home.

The makeup date will be announced at a later time.

Muskegon returns to action at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday against Jet Box. That game will be played at Oakland University.

The next home game for the Clippers is at 7:05 p.m. Saturday against the Michigan Monarchs at Marsh Field.
