LUDINGTON--The Ludington girl’s golf team won the first conference jamboree by five strokes over Whitehall on Monday.
 
The Orioles shot a round of 176 while the Viking’s finished at 181. Fremont came in third place with a 189. They were followed by North Muskegon, which shot 198 and Montague finished at 202.
 
At the top of the leaderboard was the Orioles’ Emma McKinley, who was the medalist at 32.  Julia Reed shot a 44 while Kendal Waligorski had a 49, Sam Hanson finished at 51 and Reya Dila completed the day with a 52. 
 
The Ludington Orioles play again on Wednesday, Aug. 30 at the Whitehall Invitational.
