Spring Lake fifth at Division 3 golf finals after opening day of play; SL’s Zoe Dull tied for first

The Spring Lake Lakers posted a fifth-place finish on the first of two days of the MHSAA Division 3 golf finals at The Meadows on the campus of Grand Valley State University.

The Lakers are led by Zoe Dull, who is tied for first place after carding a 74 in the opening round.

Grand Rapids Catholic has an 18-stroke lead over Williamston and Macomb Lutheran North.

Whitehall is in seventh place and Ludington stands 14th.

 

The finals conclude on Saturday.
